At the end of November 2023, we took part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge to raise funds for our Scar Free Appeal: Faster Breakthroughs in Research. For 7 days, all donations up to £20,000 were match-funded. We hoped to raise a total of £40,000 to fund vital medical research into scarring.
Our generous supporters went above and beyond. We raised a whopping £45,692 (including Gift Aid) from 72 wonderful donors. That's £12,993 more than what we raised in 2021 - an almost 40% increase!

With your donation, we're funding new research that will identify the genetic pathways that lead to scarring, change those pathways to slow, stop, or even reverse scarring, and support people already living with scarring, so they can live without pain or restriction.
