Double your donation to The Scar Free Foundation from midday on Tuesday 30th November to midday on Tuesday 7th December!

Next week - on Giving Tuesday - we’re launching our Big Give Christmas Challenge to raise money for our life-changing 3D Bioface project. With your help, we're hoping to raise an ambitious target of £29,200 in just one week!

1 in 100 people live with a significant facial difference that makes it difficult to blink, smile, talk or eat. This can be caused by burns, trauma, cancer or conditions present from birth.

Your gift will buy research equipment and fund a postdoctoral researcher to speed up the development of 3D printing for facial reconstruction. For seven days only, you can turn your £10 gift into £20 or your £100 gift into £200.

You'll help people born without body parts or living with facial scarring by supporting a pioneering treatment where surgeons can implant 3D printed ear and nose tissue. This means people will have less scarring and less pain.

Elizabeth loves swimming and gymnastics but her scars stretch and feel very painful. She's lost fingers and an ear, and her injuries will have a life-long impact.

Scar free healing is possible - it's exciting how the 3D Bioface project will help children just like Elizabeth in the future.”

Taking part in the Big Give is easy!

  1. Go to our Christmas Challenge page between midday on Tuesday 30th November and Tuesday 7th December.
  2. Make a donation by credit or debit card and see it doubled.
  3. Tell your family, friends and colleagues about our 3D Bioface project and share our posts on social media.

We’re enormously grateful to The Hospital Saturday Fund and The Scar Free Foundation’s brilliant Trustees for matching our donations - so your gift will go twice as far!

Please remember, only donations made through our Christmas Challenge page on the Big Give’s website are doubled. Donations made through our own website will not count towards the Big Give Christmas Challenge.
