Challenge events

Three of the UK’s biggest and best-loved 10K events go on sale to the public in October – but you can sign up today with our early bird charity places!
Choose from three 2026 AJ Bell 10K Great Runs in Birmingham 10K, Bristol 10K, and Manchester 10K.
These runs always sell out, so sign up early to guarantee your place and make your miles matter.
To secure your early bird place before the public rush begins, email Rob Dickinson, our Head of Fundraising, at robert@scarfree.org.uk.
Need some inspiration to get those running shoes on? Why not read Go, Doug, go! and learn more about our first ever Scar Free representative at the London Marathon.
We have just four Scar Free charity places at each event, available to secure now before public entries open in October.
Join Team Scar Free and receive:
- A free Scar Free running vest
- A recovery pack for post-race TLC
- Full fundraising support from our team
- Cheer support on the day to keep you going
- The chance to run for something that changes lives

We ask runners to raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship – and every step you take will help fund cutting-edge research into scar free healing for those affected by injury, conflict, or surgery.
But this is just the beginning…
More 2026 events and locations will be released in October 2025 – and if you see something you’d like to do to raise money, just get in touch.
Get ahead of the crowd.
Guarantee your place.
Run for a scar free future.
Email Rob today to bag your place!
