The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS)

The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) represents plastic surgery in the UK, advancing all aspects of the specialty and promoting understanding of contemporary practice. BAPRAS are pioneers in the field; dedicated to promoting excellence in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery and is the only organisation solely dedicated to safety and education in cosmetic surgery.

BAPRAS plays a significant part in the history of The Scar Free Foundation, as it was responsible, along with Michael Brough (treasurer of BAPRAS and plastic surgeon) of founding The Scar Free Foundation (formerly named The Healing Foundation).
